Buddina Beach

This popular unpatrolled surf beach stretching from Point Cartwright to just north of Coopers Lookout Park is ideal for long beach walks. Beach Access points 198 to 219. Dogs are permitted off-leash at all times between beach access points 198 to 201 and also access points 210 to 217)

First Bay

First Bay

The First Bay is separated from Coolum Beach by Point Perry where there is a lookout and facilities. The beach access point and on street car park is located 100 metres south of Scrub Road. This beach is a popular surf and fishing spot and is not patrolled.

Happy Valley Beach

Beach Access points 293 - 295. This is unpatrolled and currently has large sand bars exposed at low tide. The foreshore is generally protected from large surf. Clarke Place Park on the foreshore has a large playground, public amenities and numerous picnic areas. Boardwalk at northern end to Kings Beach.

Moffat Beach

Beach Access points 272 - 275. Moffat Beach lies between Moffat Head and Tooway Lake. Moffat Beach is connected to Shelly Beach by a coastal pathway over the headland. Dogs are permitted off leash on the beach, as indicated on the provided signs from 4pm to 8am only

Point Cartwright Beach

Located below the northern face of Point Cartwright is a 400 metre long sand beach on a rock platform. This is an unpatrolled beach and is not safe for swimming. Beach Access points 196 - 197

Second Bay Park and Beach

Second Bay Park and Beach

Second Bay Park has a small off street car park, a wheelchair accessible lookout and picnic facilities with beach access down to Second Bay via stairs. Located 330 metres south of Scrub Road, this beach is unpatrolled. Boasting outstanding ocean views it provides an ideal location for weddings and events.

Shelly Beach

Beach Access points 276 to 281. Shelly Beach lies between Moffat Head to the north and Caloundra Head to the south. The Shelly Beach Park has a playground and picnic facilities. Dogs are permitted off leash on the beach between 4 pm to 8 am (May to October).

Warana Beach

Beach Access points 229 - 238. This is an unpatrolled surf beach. Public amenities, playgrounds and picnic facilities are located at John Hotton Park Beach Access point 232 and Paul Niesler Park Beach Access point 237. Dogs are permitted off-leash, however not in the dunal areas or bushland reserve.

Golden Beach

Beach Access points 302 - 322. Golden Beach stretches for over four kilometres along the Pumicestone Passage from Bulcock Beach to the mouth of Bells Creek.
