Beach Access points 154 - 168. Very popular beach patrolled year round and home of Alexandra Surf Life Saving Club with beautiful parks, restaurants, cafes and take away food outlets nearby.

Boardwalk Beach
Beach Access points 94 - 97. Generally quieter open beach, patrolled seasonally.. The boardwalk winds its way for kilometres through natural dune vegetation and offers views over the ocean. Access locations include Tanah Street East, Breezeway Street, Wave Crescent and Breakers Place. The beach between Beach Access point 97 at Glen Retreat Park north to Beach Access point 96 at Breezeway Street is off leash for dogs between 5pm and 8pm and 5am to 8am only. Dogs are not permitted off leash in the dunal or foreshore bushland reserve areas. Lifeguard tower is located at Beach Access 96.

Bokarina Beach
Beach Access points 239 - 246. This is a patrolled surf beach, with the Sunshine Coast's newest tower and service now operating. Dogs are permitted off-leash at all times on this beach. (Dogs are not permitted in the dunal areas or the Bokarina Foreshore Bushland Reserve)

Bulcock Beach
Beach Access points 296 - 300. This seasonally patrolled beach is located inside the Caloundra bar on the Pumicestone Passage. Care needs to be taken when swimming here as there are strong tidal currents. There are plenty of picnic areas along the foreshore parkland and boardwalk. Bulcock Beach is a popular location for wedding ceremonies and events.

Coolum Main Beach
Beach Access Points 68 - 81. This is a family friendly surf beach patrolled year round with nearby parks, boardwalk, restaurants, cafes and takeaway food outlets. Home of the Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

Coolum North Beach
Beach access 73. Located in Coolum Beach Caravan Park. This is a patrolled beach, 7 days a week from September School Holidays to Easter School holidays 7.30am - 5pm. The closest dog off leash area is Stumers Creek - Beach access 67 - 72

Currimundi Beach
Beach Access points 255 - 262. Currimundi Beach, which is patrolled seasonally, lies south of Currimundi Lake and has two main locations at Watson Street and Buderim Street which are connected by the coastal pathway. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 254.

Dicky Beach
Beach Access points 262 - 271. Dicky Beach provides an ideal location for hosting your event. This is a year round patrolled beach, with parks, restaurants, cafes and takeway outlets nearby. The Dicky Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and Lifeguard Tower are located at Coochin Street.

Discovery Beach
Beach Access points 113-116 from north of Mudjimba Esplanade to Warana Way. Open stretch of beach patrolled year round. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 115.

Golden Beach
Beach Access points 302 - 322. Golden Beach stretches for over four kilometres along the Pumicestone Passage from Bulcock Beach to the mouth of Bells Creek, and is patrolled seasonally. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 317.

Kawana Beach
Beach Access points 220 - 228. This is a year round patrolled surf beach with the Kawana Waters Surf Livesaving Club located within Coopers Lookout Park. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 223. Quieter open stretch of beach surrounded by parklands and a small playground.

Kings Beach
Beach Access points 283 - 291. A very popular year round patrolled beach with the Metropolitan Caloundra Surf Life Saving Club located on Spender Lane at the northern end of the Precinct. A great precinct for families with large areas of green space, playgrounds, cafes, restaurants and takeaway outlets. Kings Beach Ocean Pool is also located within this precinct.

Marcoola Beach
Beach Access points 98 -112. The Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club is located at 64-76 Marcoola Esplanade (Beach Access point 103) beside Felix Parry Park. Quieter open stretch of beach surrounded by parklands. Patrolled seasonally.

Maroochy River Mouth
Beach access points 140 - 143. A new patrol service. This beach is patrolled on holiday service - Queensland School Holidays during September, Christmas and Easter from 7.30am to 5pm.

Maroochydore Beach
Beach access points 141 - 153. This year round patrolled surf beach runs from the Cotton Tree Holiday Park at Maroochy River mouth to opposite Maroubra Street at Alex Headland. The Maroochydore Surf Life Saving Club is located near Beach Parade, at Beach Access 146.. This a popular open stretch of beach that has nearby cafes, restaurants, takeway outlets as well as parks and playgrounds.

Mooloolaba Main Beach
Mooloolaba Beach is a popular swimming beach, protected by the Point Cartwright Headland to the South. Parklands, playgrounds, restaurants and take away food outlets are nearby. Plenty of accommodation options. This location is popular for wedding ceremonies and events. There are three separate areas for holding events, including the beach, the northern rocks and the spit rock wall. No dogs permitted along the entire Mooloolaba Beach Foreshore. Patrolled year round.

Mooloolaba Spit Beach
This beautiful year round patrolled beach is at the southern end of Mooloolaba Beach. The beach is protected from southerly winds and is a popular location for families with children. The beach is excellent for swimming and is generally calmer than other locations. Surrounded by parks, it is a popular spot for takeaway fish & chips.

Mudjimba Beach
Beach Access points 117-131. Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club is located adjacent to Power Memorial Park at Beach Access 123. Parklands, local cafes and takeway outlets nearby. Quieter open stretch of beach, patrolled year round.

Twin Waters Beach
Beach access points 131 to 136. There is a Lifeguard Tower and public amenities at Beach Access point 131 and public amenities and picnic shelters at the end of North Shore Road. Quieter open stretch of beach, patrolled year round. The end of North Shore Road is a popular dog off leash area, but is unpatrolled.

Popular for board riding, long beach walks and getting close to nature. Patrolled seasonally. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 248.

Yaroomba Beach is an open surf beach with a seasonal patrol near Birrahl Park at Beach Access points 89 and 90.
