Airports

Council is responsible for the management of the Sunshine Coast Airport and the Caloundra Airport.

The Sunshine Coast Airport is the principal airport for the region, operating 24 hours a day.

Sunshine Coast Airport

The Caloundra aerodrome was reserved as an aircraft landing ground in 1931. Most of the air traffic is flight training.
