Free trees will re-open to the public Wednesday 1 July. Please bring your rates notice when you come.
Free trees are distributed via a Free Tree Day, which councillors organise in their respective divisions.
Details of the Free Tree program is advertised in newspapers when trees are available for collection. Ratepayers are invited to collect their trees with rates notice to be sighted as per the Free Tree policy.
Ratepayers can collect their free trees with their rate notice for the current financial year only.
Ratepayers can pick up two free tube stock plants from the nursery at council's Caloundra depot located on Industrial Avenue.
- Trees can only be collected on Wednesdays between 1.00pm and 3.00pm (nursery open time).
- Two plants can be picked up every six months with a current Sunshine Coast Council rates notice.
- Council only provides a selection of trees, either small medium or large. Council does not stock any shrubs or ground covers.
