Join acclaimed Australian author Candice Fox at Sunshine Coast Council’s Maroochydore library from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, February 16.

Candice is the author of five books including Fall, Hades, Eden and Never Never with James Patterson.

Her first novel, Hades, won the Ned Kelly Award for best debut in 2014 from the Australian Crime Writers Association.

The follow-up book won best crime novel in the Ned Kelly 2015 Awards.

Candice began collaborating with best-selling author James Patterson in 2015, with their first title Never Never set in the Australian outback. A prequel novella, Black and Blue was part of the James Patterson BookShots series.

Candice will be discussing her new fiction release, Crimson Lake, an edgy suspense novel set in the crocodile infested wetlands of Far North Queensland.

This special literary event, held as part of Library Lovers Week, with popular local presenter and author Mary-Lou Stephens as master of ceremonies is part of a series of Sunshine Coast Libraries author talks hosted at various locations across the region.

Candice’s books will be available for purchase at the venue.

Tickets are $25 per person and bookings are a must via council’s library website as light refreshments will be provided.

Live music by Sunshine Coast singer/songwriter Josh Curtis. Cash wine bar available.
