Don’t miss a visit from conservation campaigner Frank Manthey at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve next weekend, together with a special Bilby guest.

Frank will discuss the plight of the Bilby, as well as the latest news from the ‘Save the Bilby’ fund.

The Bilby is one of the country’s most remarkable burrowing bandicoots. Once common throughout Australia, it is now listed as Vulnerable and is one of Queensland's 12 endangered mammals.

Learn more about this fascinating marsupial, and see one up close!

Bilbys in the Rainforest will be held at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve’s Education Centre next Saturday 19 July from 9.30am. Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the Centre on 5499 9907 or email [email protected].
