Sunshine Coast Council invites you to join award-winning author, Nicole Alexander, at a literary luncheon on Wednesday, October 29 at Lake Kawana Community Centre from noon to 2pm.

Nicole will talk about her latest book The Great Plains, an epic story about two conflicting cultures and one divided family.

Nicole is a fourth-generation grazier and, as well as writing bestselling novels, she has a hands-on role in running her family’s property near Moree. Most days you’ll find her in the stockyards, mustering sheep or cattle, inspecting crops, or working in the station office.

As one of Australia’s leading storytellers Nicole’s works reflect a sense of continuity and an inherent love for the land that is steeped in authenticity.

She is the bestselling author of four Australian Fiction novels; The Bark Cutters, A Changing Land, Absolution Creek and the WWI epic, Sunset Ridge.

The literary luncheon is part of a series of Sunshine Coast Libraries author talks hosted at various locations around the region.

Nicole’s books will be available for purchase at the venue. Tickets are just $20 per person and bookings are a must via Council’s library website.
