Sunshine Coast Council proudly presents a talk by Peter Mulready, Australian author of Cross the Vatican Line, at various library locations across the Coast.
Peter has woven mystery into his rollicking tale of the 16th century voyage to Australia and will share his quest for the truth about the tales of the sighting of a Mahogany ship wreck off the Victorian Coast near Warrnambool in 1836.
For over a century and a half the mystery of this ship has captured the imagination of Australians. This fascination is largely because the existence of such a vessel could throw a different light on the earliest phases of exploration of the eastern seaboard of Australia by Europeans.
Peter served for eight years in the Royal Australian Navy before pursuing a corporate and business career. Come and hear Peter talk about his latest novel, the topic of which sparked interest in him as a child.
