There are just two days to submit entries to the Local Contemporary Art Prize 2024, which boasts a prize pool of $17,000
Entries close February 2 with the forty successful finalists notified by February 26.
The annual exhibition provides a platform for emerging, mid-career and established visual artists from the Sunshine Coast and in partnership with The Gallery’s Friends, invites artists living within the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions and working across all mediums to submit 2D and 3D works for the Local Contemporary Art Prize 2024.

Local Student Art Prize 2024
For the younger artists in the region, the Local Student Art Prize provides a chance for children aged 5 and up to submit two-dimensional artsworks that celebrate the local region.
Entries close 11 February 2024
Sponsored by Friends Regional Gallery Inc. and Marie Pigott and supported by the Sunshine Coast Council and Caloundra Regional Gallery, the Local Student Art Prize 2024 will be held on Friday 22 March to Sunday 5 May 2024 in the Artroom at the Caloundra Regional Gallery.
A total prize pool of $1500 has been generously donated by Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra Inc. and Marie Pigott. Art supplies vouchers will be awarded across a range of categories to winning entrants and their schools.
Thirty finalists will be displayed in the Artroom at the Caloundra Regional Gallery.
