    Parks and your wellbeing

We know being active outdoors has great benefits for our mental health and this year's Parks Week theme focuses on the message How spending time in our parks and open spaces positively influences our wellbeing. During this week,  everyone is encouraged to take time out from busy schedules and indoor routines and explore some of the region's unique and beautiful parks and gardens. Simply go for a walk, run or bike ride. Better still enjoy taking part in an organised activity.
