Spending time at the beach and taking part in water-based activities is a fun and popular past-time on the Sunshine Coast. Everyone should have the chance to enjoy our wonderful lifestyle.

Royal Life Saving Society Queensland, Surf Life Saving Queensland and council have partnered together to bring free learn to swim and beach safety awareness sessions to migrant residents on the Sunshine Coast in the Migrant Learn to Swim and Beach Safe Program.

Migrant residents wanting to learn to swim, improve their swimming ability and confidence, and learn beach safety awareness, are invited to attend. The program includes ten weeks of water safety and swimming lessons at a local Aquatic Centre and at least one session at the beach.
