Spending time at the beach and taking part in water-based activities is very popular on the Sunshine Coast. Everyone should have the chance to enjoy our wonderful lifestyle. Migrant residents of the Sunshine Coast are invited to attend free learn to swim classes and beach safety awareness sessions in September 2019 and February 2020.

Royal Life Saving Society Queensland, Surf Life Saving Queensland and Sunshine Coast Council have partnered to bring free learn to swim and beach safety awareness sessions to the Sunshine Coast. Migrant residents wanting to learn to swim, improve their swimming ability and better understand beach safety are invited to attend a free program. The program includes 10 weeks of water safety and swimming lessons and a beach safe session.

Each participant receives a free welcome pack including goggles and cap.
