Seniors Fitness and Nutrition Classes at Resolve Fitness

Council and the Division 2 Councillor Discretionary Program in partnership with Resolve Fitness at Caloundra RSL is proud to support low cost ($2) weekly senior exercise classes with a free morning tea twice a month (first and third Wednesdays of the month).

This is a great community initiative assisting with health and fitness along with social interaction for our senior community members.

Group fitness classes

Nutrition sessions

  • On the first and third Wednesday of the month, following the fitness class a free morning tea will be held with recipe demonstrations and sample tasting.

No bookings required.

Low cost seniors classes

Healthy Sunshine Coast seniors

These classes are supported by council to allow the classes to be low cost. There are a range of seniors classes for $5 for the over 55s.

Strength and stability class - The Range Community Gym, Mapleton

The Range Community Gym and Fitness Centre is once again offering resistance/strength training program. This 8-week program is a high intensity resistance/strength training program for older adults or people with chronic conditions, such as Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoporosis and MS.

Sunshine 60 and Better offer a variety of classes to improve the health and wellbeing of seniors on the Sunshine Coast. They provide the activities at low cost at three locations. Senior's dance classes

Join Philippa for dancing on a Thursday. A class designed for people with mobility issues or impairment, it includes a variety of styles with a broad range of music. The class has a combination of seated and mobile routines that will ensure fun and fitness for all.

YMCA seniors classes

The YMCA Caloundra PRYME MOVERS PROGRAM is celebrating its first birthday during Seniors Week with a little party and the offer of a free class on the 21st of August at 10.30. Join us for an hour of fun exercise with a qualified fitness instructor. Come early to register. Arthur Street, Caloundra, in between the Aquatic Centre and the Tennis Club. Speciality classes for the over 50s. 

YMCA Caloundra is now offering a range of exercise classes to music designed towards the over 50s athlete. Our instructors are specialists in older adult fitness. Our classes are safe, fun, low impact, easy to learn, and designed so that each participant can begin slowly and progress at their own rate, regardless of their individual fitness level or physical ability. Our instructors are skilled, experienced older adult specialists who will provide all of the necessary care and hands on support participants need to exercise safely, while still getting the most physical and metal benefit out of every workout.
