The feedback provided during this consultation process will be used to help further assess each site and identify the community’s preferred location for these play activities.
Planning and design of the active play space will be progressed subject to community support and funding availability.
Council aims to develop a play space that offers many recreation opportunities and meets as many of the community’s needs as possible.
Each of the four possible locations is suitable for different activities. Potential activities include:
- multi-purpose courts
- rebound wall
- active play
- integrated skate element
- hoop sports
- exercise bars and parkour.
Council has also proposed seating and shade trees for each area.
