MRA Special Benefit Area Levy Property Owners

A proposal to introduce a Special Benefit Area Levy for the Maroochydore Revitalisation Association (MRA) Precinct area has been received from the MRA.  

Purpose

The proposal is for owners of Commercial and Industrial (Urban) and Transitory Accommodation (Urban) properties within the MRA precinct to make an additional financial contribution through council rates process.  The levy funds are intended to be used by the MRA to continue activation initiatives in the MRA Precinct:  Economic Development Plan (EDP).

Community engagement

Owners and co-owners of affected properties within the defined MRA precinct were invited to have their say on the MRA proposal.
