The Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards are a celebration of the contribution that individuals, community groups and organisations make in our region. Everyday people are encouraged to apply - you don't have to be famous! We're looking for the unsung heroes. If you know of a person or community group who make a difference to life on the Sunshine Coast, don't miss the opportunity to nominate them for the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards.
The nomination process is through an online submission. Please review the category criteria and entry rules below before completing your Australia Day Awards nomination. Nominating is easy. You only need to provide 300-500 words about your nominee and how they meet the category criteria, advise their contact details and provide two supporting referee names with contact details.
Nominations for the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards will open on 4 July and close on 18 November 2022. Recipients will be announced at a special ceremony on Friday, 20 January 2023.
