A range of different walks that weave their way through the Coast's natural coastal and hinterland environments are shown on council's publication – A guide to walking tracks on the Sunshine Coast[1642KB].

You can use the guide in conjunction with the walking reference map[506KB] to choose from 27 different tracks within the beach, coastal, wetland and forest environments, some of which take you to spectacular scenic lookouts.

The tracks in the brochure offer a variety of experiences from short leisurely strolls suitable for the whole family, to more strenuous medium to longer distance trails.

Or you can embrace new experiences on three to five day treks with overnight camps, such as the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

The brochure includes:

  • walking trail locations
  • available facilities
  • difficulty levels
  • whether the track is a circuit or one way
  • track distances
  • where to go to get more information about each walk.

‚ÄčNOTE - ‚ÄčBuderim Forest Park Boardwalk and Alternative Trail is Closed. Quorn Close Trail to Waterfall is Open.
Due to the recent prolonged rainfall, the lower walking trail to the waterfall from Harrys Lane is temporarily closed. The boardwalk is still closed at the first bridge (Harrys Lane).
