Region making projects
Have you heard of our 'region making projects'? Here's what you can look forward to:
Students are probably best placed to benefit from the creation of the Maroochydore CBD. As the city evolves you can look forward to a stronger economy, more local jobs, smart technology as standard, improved public transport, plus more opportunities for shopping, eating, entertainment and recreation.
Planning your travels? From 2020 you’ll be able to get to more destinations, quickly from your local airport. Plus with more airlines flying from Sunshine Coast Airport, there’ll be more choice than ever before.
No car, no problem, mass transit would bring a modern, reliable mode of transport that links seamlessly with buses and trains, making planning that night out or a day trip much easier.
From 2020, the Sunshine Coast will deliver Australia’s fastest telecommunications connection from the east coast of Australia to Asia. That means faster speeds and better connectivity. That’s great news for school and university graduates, who’ll have more access to local jobs in technology based industries.
