Join us in planting native trees, shrubs and groundcovers to increase habitat for local wildlife.
Following the planting activity you can choose from two workshops to participate in:
- Weave a habitat nest with Rene Bahloo
- Leave your nest creation in the Reserve for wildlife while learning a weaving technique to use at home.
- Walking with Awareness with Tony Bright
- Take this guided walk and view your surroundings through different eyes to discover the signs, tracks and traces for wildlife.
We will be joined by Eva Ford, Catchment Officer with the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee who will provide an overview of their Find a Frog program. Bring along your frog photo(s) for identification and have your sighting recorded in WildNet.
Morning tea and equipment for activities provided. Please wear enclosed, sturdy shoes, sun safe clothing and bring along your own water bottle. Further navigation and parking information will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event.
