Tinkering with word play and backward fun, Capital Nuf teases out Caloundra’s transformative metaphors. Artist Kevin McMahon summons upcycled word art from the community, inspired by contemplations of what characterises 'shedding or shackled' in current times. This a community collaboration, with artwork and artist credits integrated into the virtual and live art outcomes of this project. Check out the full instructions[232KB].

In coming months, join us for workshops and a participatory installation - tossing wet toilet paper with abandon. The collaborative canvas will become a rich tactile landscape, overlayed with projected imagery incorporating community wordplay artwork. Inspired by the "ceiling sculptures" in public toilets, formed from the mischief of pitching wet loo paper skyward, artist Kevin McMahon gives us permission to ‘shed’!

Program available soon. In the meantime, stay inspired and updated via InstagramFacebook and online.
