​This video shows you how to register in MyCouncil and how to access your personal and business dashboards.

To register with MyCouncil, click on 'MyCouncil Login' from the Sunshine Coast Council website: http://www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/

Click on 'Sign up free', or if you already have an account, you can login using your credentials.

To continue with your account set up, click on 'Email' and register your details.

Enter your email address and click on 'Send email verification code'.

Your verification code will now be sent to your email address.

Enter the code and click 'Verify email code'. To complete your registration, set up your password and enter your name. Then click 'Create'.

Upon successful registration you will see your MyCouncil dashboard.

To complete verification, click on 'Verify to access plumbing inspections' link from the Plumbing Inspections tile.

In the verify section of the screen, enter an application reference number, followed by your date of birth. The click on 'Verify' to continue.

A pop up notification confirms your successful verification. Click 'OK' and confirm your phone number and address registered with the council.

You can make updates when required, then click on 'Confirm'.

You will now see your MyCouncil dashboard with a notification message confirming your online verification was successful. 

The My Dashboards section of the screen presents you with your personal dashboard and provides you with a list of options based on your profile.

Licensed plumbers will see options to lodge form sevens, view and make changes to scheduled inspections and review your plumbing permit details.

If you are associated with a plumbing business and would like to add a business dashboard, click on 'Add a business dashboard' from the 'Business' tile.

Enter the name of your authorised business and click 'Submit'.

From your recently added dashboard proceed to verify your business by selecting 'Verify your business' link from the Plumbing Inspections tile.

Enter an application reference number and your ABN, Click 'Verify'.

A pop up notification confirms your successful verification.

Click 'OK' and confirm your business contact details registered with council.

You can now make updates to your business email, phone number and address as required and click on 'Confirm'.

You will now be able to access your business dashboard to view your plumbing permits and manage bookings associated with the business.
