Zooming into 2011 with free Family Day at the gallery
  • Wednesday 09 February 2011

Anything fun-planned for the kids this weekend that will keep them entertained while inspiring their creativity?

Noosa Regional Gallery’s free Family Day this Sunday 13 February from 11am to 2pm will be sure to hit the mark.

During the three-hour free session, children will get to create fabulous rockets, flying into the future and explore a variety of creative activities inspired by the current exhibitions – Show Us Your Art: Volunteer Showcase and Zooming into 2030.

From creating their own masterpieces inspired by the current works to exploring printmaking and crafting stories for the future, there are plenty of fun creative activities lined up for the kids to enjoy.

To finish the session, children can chill while they have their face painted with stars, rockets and futuristic fun!

Also available on Family Day is the famous sausage sizzle that will kick off at noon.

It’s always fun and it’s always busy. Don’t miss out!
