Youth all set to converge on skate and music festival

If you’re aged under 25, you’re invited to celebrate National Youth Week at Converge – a skate and music festival at the Sunshine Beach Skate Park this Saturday (28 March).

Register by 11am to be part of the skating comps and be in the running to win wicked prizes. Be there between noon and 4pm and listen to local youth bands performing live, create a stencil for your board, enjoy the food and free access to the Noosa Aquatic Centre next door.

The five skating competition heats include; Best Vert, Best Street, Best Girls, Best Boys, and Best Under 12s.

Converge is a Sunshine Coast Council National Youth Week event for young people and their families held at the Skate Park Sunshine Beach, next to the Noosa Aquatic Centre on Giraween Court. It is drug and alcohol free.
