Teens invited to read and win
  • Monday 22 June 2015

Teen bookworms are invited to head to their local Council library to be in the running to win some fantastic prizes in the teenREADmonth promotion during July.

This annual readathon for ages 12 to 18 is held during winter so you can get warm and comfy with some good books, magazines or Manga.

It takes five easy steps to enter:
1. Become a member of Sunshine Coast Libraries
2. Register for teenREADmonth online or at your local library
3. Read five items (books, magazines, graphic or manga novels)
4. Choose which prize pack to go in the draw for

  • $50 Get reading voucher (from local bookstore)
  • $50 Get moving voucher (from local sports store)
  • $50 Get your geek on (from local electronics store)

5. Submit a reading log

The more books you read, the more entries you get.

Once again, in partnership with Voices on the Coast Youth Literature festival, a school “Box of books” prize is up for grabs. Entrants simply nominate their school to go into the draw to win.
Registrations for the 2015 teenREADmonth will open on June 26.

For more details, make sure you head to Council’s library website.
