There’s a buzz at Council’s Nambour Civic Centre as they prepare for a night of untamed comedy when the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase makes a pit stop on Friday, July 24 at 8pm.
For the third year in a row, Sunshine Coast locals will enjoy the crème de la crème of the 2015 Sydney Comedy Festival right on their doorstep.
But this year is extra exciting as fans will not only have the chance to laugh at the jokes, but also rub shoulders with the comedians following the show at a special after-party hosted by popular local Currie Street bar, the Nook & Cranny.
The Nook & Cranny is the Sunshine Coast’s newest place to hang out, listen to live music and feast on delicious food. Located on Currie Street, the café and bar has been a huge success since the doors opened early this year, and is contributing to the changing face of Nambour.
The Nook & Cranny is also the choice for a post-show after-party of the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase artists, where the comics will hang out following the show at the Nambour Civic Centre.
The showcase at Nambour Civic Centre will feature a huge night of comedy with award-winning entertainers such as Ray Badran, Al Del Bene (USA), Jacques Barrett, Corey White, Nikki Britton, Jared Jekyll and Michael Workman. So make sure you book your tickets so you can come along to the after-party.
Ticket prices will have you smiling for this popular show, with adult tickets at $35 and just $30 if you’re a SCvip Member.
To book yours, your mates, or your partners’ ticket, please call the venue on 5475 7777 or visit www.scvenuesandevents.com.au for more information and the fantastic line up of comedians.
The Nambour Civic Centre is located on the upper level of the C-Square complex, 52 – 64 Currie Street, Nambour. Parking is available via Mill Street across from the Coles Supermarket.
