Sunshine Coast Council will showcase the diversity of local Aboriginal commercial artist De Greer-Yindimincarlie in the striking Aspects of Me exhibition at Caloundra Regional Gallery from Wednesday, December 17 to Sunday, January 25, 2015.
The exhibition illustrates the vast array of mediums De uses to make her art and the diverse nature of styles ranging from paint, digital media including augmented reality, textile design, film, music and print.
All are welcome to attend the official opening of Aspects of Me: De Greer-Yindimincarlie at 5.30pm on Wednesday, December 17 with musical entertainment provided by De herself. The free public opening is followed immediately by the (ticketed) Festival of Small Halls national tour concert.

Wednesday, December 17, doors open 7pm for a 7.20pm start
The Festival of Small Halls tour returns to the Gallery with Australian folk act the Mae Trio and Canadian artist Del Barber for an exquisite musical mix. The supporting opening act is local artist and musician De Greer-Yindimincarlie. Tickets are $15 per person and $10 concession and can be purchased via www.festivalofsmallhalls.com.

Gratitude rock painting

Meet exhibiting artist De Greer-Yindimincarlie and join in a gratitude rock painting workshop. Learn about Aboriginal symbols so you and pick an icon for your own gratitude rock to take home. Just $5 per person, bookings and pre-payment are essential.

De Greer-Yindimincarlie will bring Felicity Park to life each Sunday with a blend of live music and Aboriginal artmaking. Come along to be entertained and participate in making your own Gratitude rock. Free and no bookings required.

Caloundra Regional Gallery is owned and operated by the Sunshine Coast Council. Located at 22 Omrah Avenue, the Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.
