Share your views on future of Caloundra Town Reserve
  • Friday 03 March 2017
ImageLocals and visitors who enjoy hiking, biking and exploring Caloundra Town Reserve are encouraged to share their ideas about the future uses and activities on the site.

Their views will help in the creation of a concept plan for the area.

The 49ha reserve caters for informal recreational, social, cultural and leisure activities for the community.

After becoming trustee of the land from Queensland State Government in 2015, council resolved to establish a long-term plan for the reserve to meet the growing recreational needs of the community.

The concept plan will be guided by feedback from the local community and developed over the coming months.

Council would like to hear the community’s views on how the site is currently used and how it can be best used and maintained in the future.

Residents can submit their thoughts and ideas online via council’s website, or by contacting council for a hard copy of the survey.

All completed surveys go into a draw to win $300 in gift vouchers to Caloundra food and beverage businesses.

Submissions close 5pm on Friday 10th March 2017.

The concept plan will be available on council’s website and on public display for further comment from mid-April 2017.
