Sunshine Coast Libraries invites you to join bestselling Australian author Loretta Hill for high tea at Flaxton Gardens on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 2.30 to 4pm.

Enjoy spectacular views at Flaxton Gardens with Loretta as she talks about her new release The Maxwell Sisters. She is embarking on her first tour of Australia, visiting five states from mid-February 2015.

Loretta has made a name for herself with her much loved novels The Girl in Steel-Capped Boots, The Girl in the Hard Hat and The Girl in the Yellow Vest. She drew upon her own outback engineering experiences of larrikins, red dust and steel-capped boots for the writing of these titles. Loretta has paved the way for an exciting and relevant new genre that looks at the Australian Fly-in-Fly-out (FIFO) sector, one so prevalent in Australian employment, and in doing so, has captured the hearts of tens of thousands of Australian readers.

Loretta’s fourth novel, The Maxwell Sisters, will be published this month and is her first title to be set outside of the mining industry and the FIFO sector. The Maxwell Sisters is a heart-warming romantic comedy about three extraordinary women on a journey to find love and rediscover family in a vineyard in the Margaret River wine region.

The literary high tea is part of a series of Sunshine Coast Libraries author talks hosted at various locations around the region.

Loretta’s books will be available for purchase at the venue. Tickets are just $25 per person and bookings are a must via Council’s library website.
