If you’re a local artist or work in creative arts, don’t forget that applications for Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Grants are always open.
The RADF program is designed to support the development of emerging and professional artists and creative arts workers. Individuals and businesses can apply.
Grant funding is available across six categories:
Individual development - for activities focussed on developing local creatives and showcasing the Sunshine Coast as a region of creative excellence.
Mentorship funding - for emerging local artists to engage professional artists or creative workers for short term development processes.
Concept development - to assist in the research and /or preliminary development of ideas for new projects and, as an outcome, create fully developed plans to implementation stage and/or investment ready proposals.
Project funding - for new, fully developed or established projects and/or to refresh and revitalise existing projects and activities which have a specific start and finish date.
Seed funding - for projects that can demonstrate a strong prospect of commercial success in the long term.
Interest-free loans - to develop arts projects with strongly anticipated commercial success that will generate an income greater than the amount of the loan.
