Sunshine Coast Council’s AMPED program and QMusic invite emerging musicians and industry professionals, aged 18 to 30, to register for professional development workshops being held in May and June 2013.
Taking place at local venue Solbar on 2 May and 6 June from 6pm to 8pm, these workshops delivered by QMusic and APRA aim to provide tips for getting your music heard and protecting your intellectual property.

The AMPED Live gigs will commence directly after the workshop at 8.30pm until late with Mia Wray, Soula and The Floating Bridges entertaining the crowds.
Copyright and Protecting Your Intellectual Property delivered by APRA (Chris O’Neill)

Basic copyright and what you need to know about protecting your intellectual property rights, the copyright within a song and royalties.
