Our 50th Anniversary Naming of the Sunshine Coast celebrations continue this weekend with two days packed full of fun for all ages and interests.

This Saturday, join the celebrations at the Loving Landsborough Day with visitors invited to come dressed in theme “1967” to have the chance to win a prize.

The community festival will provide a great insight into Landsborough and its history through kids activities, a visit to the Landsborough Museum, buskers, Landsborough State School Art exhibition, markets, beanie and teas cosy competition, displays of vintage ambulance and cars and much more.

After a six-week run, From the Mountains to the Sea exhibition at the University of Sunshine Coast Art Gallery is open for its final day on Saturday.

The 50 Vessels to celebrate the creative cauldron of the Sunshine Coast exhibition is open to August 25 and is open on Saturday.

Festival of Community Halls events continue with four events throughout the region.

On Saturday, Dance The Night Away at Gheerulla Hall, partake in a High Tea with a Twist at Landsborough Hall, enjoy a Picture Show at Palmwoods Hall and visit the Mary Valley Show Rodeo and Wood Chop at Imbil Hall.

And finally on Sunday join the family fun at the Yandina Street Fair which will feature local artists, music, dance, food, crafts and children's activities all illustrating the past 50 years.
