There is no excuse but to start the week off on the right note thanks to Sundays Lakeside, a new weekly series of quality live acoustic performances on the banks of Lake Kawana that launches this weekend.
Sunshine Coast Regional Council Regional Director Community Services Lisbet Deansaid Sundays Lakeside provides the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon of live acoustic performances from a mix of quality local, national and international talent.
“Featuring some very high quality performers, Sundays Lakeside is a great way to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, enjoying our first class lifestyle and infrastructure,” Ms Dean said.
Sundays Lakeside kicks off on Sunday 6 April with Canadian Dan Mangan, Brisbane artist Andrew Morris, and the Sunshine Coast’s very own Lucy Hannah.
Next week’s event (13 April) features Saritah, Ange Takats and Sue-Anne. On Sunday 20 April, don’t miss the acclaimed Women in Docs, Asa Broomhall and Loren, with the series wrapping up on Sunday 27 April with Mihirangi, Emily Smart and Liam Griffin.
The event, which is proudly supported by Bennett Carroll Solicitors in partnership with Budget Direct, and supported by 92.7 MIX FM, runs from 2pm to 5pm, and entry is by a gold coin donation, with all profits going to local charities.
