Sunshine Coast Council invites avid readers to join Melbourne based Queensland author Jason Nahrung when he gives a personal account into his latest gothic short story Salvage at library locations across the Coast.
A newspaper journalist for more than twenty years and editor of Writing Queensland magazine, Jason grew up on a Queensland cattle property and now lives in Melbourne with his wife, writer Kirstyn McDermott.
Salvage is set in the very familiar landscape of Bribie Island where Mr Nahrung draws from his own childhood memories of Fraser Island to create a suggestive backdrop for this captivating tale bringing a contemporary literature sensibility to a low – burning supernatural thriller.
Bookings are essential for this free session by visiting council’s library website or by calling Noosa or Caloundra Library.
