Caloundra Music Festival is revered for its relaxed vibe by Sunshine Coast locals, visitors from around Australia and overseas…and by headlining acts including John Butler.
The award-winning Australian musician is one of many artists applauding the 2014 festival and its organisers.
Butler, who performed solo after his Trio’s bass player was injured before the event, said it was an honour to perform at Caloundra Music Festival.
“Caloundra Music Festival is one of a kind festival where you feel like you're really entering a community culture – I felt like I was being welcomed home by family,” John said.
“I feel so lucky to walk on to the Caloundra Music Festival stage and see such smiling faces, and I can’t wait to come back.”
Festival director Richie Eyles said many artists had already expressed interest in playing at next year’s festival.
“The CMF team received thanks from the performers and their teams for being professional, friendly and helpful – and many are saying they want to come back,” Mr Eyles said.
“The team works very hard in the lead up to the festival and it’s very rewarding to get such a great response from the artists.”
