Occupy the kids over winter weekends at the Caloundra Regional Art Gallery’s free Kids Club art workshops held on the first Saturday of every month.
Kicking off this Saturday 5 June 2010, Kids Club gets young minds buzzing with creative activities based on current exhibitions at the gallery.
This weekend, the focus is on creating eco-art works, inspired by local coastal flora, as part of the TreeLine art project currently running at the gallery.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend between 10am and 12pm. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and wear appropriate protective clothing and footwear.
Bookings aren’t required for this free workshop – just bring an active imagination.
The Kids Club Art Discovery Space is an indoor area that allows children to participate in a variety of art activities.
TreeLine is an arts initiative running until 4 July that aims to inspire the community to take action for the environment through art.
