Improvements are on the way for Landsborough Parade at Golden Beach as part of council's commitment to providing and maintaining infrastructure to service the needs of our region through the Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program.
A section of the northern end of Landsborough Parade (marked in green on the image) will be rehabilitated, starting next on Monday, with the works involving strengthening the subgrade, replacing the pavement and adding a new asphalt wearing surface capable of long-term performance.
Works will take around six weeks, depending on weather conditions.
It is expected that construction will begin at 7am and finish by 5pm each day. All residents will be able to access their homes, however traffic delays may occur while machinery is in operation
Temporary road detours and restricted street access parking will be in place.
Pedestrian traffic will be on the footpath or nature strip and will generally not be impeded and traffic controllers will be on site to provide assistance.
