nbn Corporate Affairs Manager, Queensland Kylie Lindsay said Australia’s new landline phone and internet network is designed to provide the community access to fast and reliable phone and internet services.
“nbn™ is now available in parts of Wurtulla, Birtinya, Currimundi, Parrearra, Bokarina, Warana, Buddina, Mooloolaba, Minyama and more,” she said.
“I encourage residents living in these areas to head to one of the free information sessions to find out how to connect and start experiencing the benefits of our high speed internet network.
“Our representatives will be on hand to answer any questions people might have about the nbn™ network which is one of the most advanced technology projects in Australian history.”
Community Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said Sunshine Coast Libraries are an important community hub providing dynamic environments for learning and recreation.
“Our libraries offer access to a wide range of information and resources,” Cr McKay said.
“In fact, over the past 12 months our libraries hosted over 2,000 events and activities to educate, inform and support lifelong learning for the whole community.
“Just like the free nbn™ network sessions which will provide a greater understanding of this new technology being rolled out across Australia.”
