Sunshine Coast Council, in partnership with the Friends of Maroochydore Library, presents Flying by the Seat of your Pants at Maroochydore Library on Thursday, June 26 from 6pm.

Join Terry Shroder for a humourous account of his adventures while ferrying planes from the United States to Australia via Europe.

Hear about some of the unusual cargo Terry carried in Papua New Guinea and the many interesting characters he met.

Terry spent 10 years flying in and out of PNG in the early '90s.

He was chief pilot for the Flying Doctors Service and also flew for Eastern Airlines at Tamworth.

Terry is currently the President of Probus, Alexander Headlands and has spent 14,000 hours as a flight instructor.

Cost to attend is just $6 per person and includes light refreshments.

Bookings are essential by visiting council’s library website or calling 1300 LIBRARY.
