Are you planning a corporate event on the Sunshine Coast? Take advantage of public transport options with the new go access Corporate Events travel card currently being trialled by TransLink.
Transport portfolio councillor Rick Baberowski said the card, which provides discounted unlimited travel, provides a radical improvement in value and convience. This new go card will simplify moving around the coast, as well as getting to and from the region, for corporate event attendees and delegates.
“The go access Corporate Events card provides an invaluable transport offer for companies and organisations planning transport for their conference or corporate event,” Cr Baberowski said.
“This inexpensive transport option should really encourage corporate event attendees to consider leaving the car behind and would make it a breeze for attendees from across South East Queensland to travel to and around the Sunshine Coast for their event, while also keeping transport costs down.
“If event organisers take it up it could also help reduce event-related traffic and parking congestion.”
Key features of the corporate go access card include:
- $12 for 3 days unlimited travel
- Add extra days from $4 per day (max eight days)
- Valid on all TransLink services in South-East Queensland, excluding Airtrain
- Save time and money processing travel expenses
- Easy to use - cardholders simply touch on at the start of their trip and touch off at the end
Tourism, Sport and Major Events portfolio councillor Jason O’Pray said the card presented an excellent opportunity for corporate event organisers.
“The go access Corporate Events card takes the drama out of planning transport around corporate events; it’s a useful tool all Sunshine Coast events organisers should look into,” said Cr O’Pray.
The go access Corporate Events card is now available from TransLink. Orders from eligible businesses and organisations are currently being taken.
