To help the farmers and their families who are facing real hardship in the face of severe drought, the Sunshine Coast community is invited to join this worthy cause by donating toiletry items to send to drought affected families. Toiletries can be an expensive item to add to the shopping list and you can help by providing essential items such as shampoo, deodorant, sanitary items and much more.
Burrumbuttock Hay Runners have completed 11 successful hay runs since 2014 and the Sunshine Coast community is hoping to continue helping the farmers and their families in the drought affected areas, not just providing hay for their stock, but also directly assisting the families.
Please drop your toiletry donation during business hours to the collection bin located at council’s Customer Contact Centre, 1 Omrah Avenue, Caloundra before Friday, May 6.
