Sunshine Coast Council invites locals and visitors to get up close and personal with creatures from bygone eras when Erth’s Dinosaur Petting Zoo takes up residence at The J Noosa on 3 and 4 May 2012.
Meet Erth’s awesome prehistoric creatures ranging from cute baby dinosaurs to teeth-gnashing giants. Impressive life-like dinosaurs are alive and mostly friendly in this fun, educational and unique performance event that will delight children of all ages.
A menagerie of insects, mammals and dinosaurs that once roamed free around the southern hemisphere will feature. You can pet, feed and interact with these prehistoric marvels that inhabited the landscape millions of years ago in a once in a lifetime imaginative experience.
This is a fantastic family show presented by Erth who have toured around the globe and featured in large scale events including the opening of the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 and the Singapore Arts festival.
Erth have also bridged the gap between cultural and theatrical institutions by bringing their physical theatre and puppetry performances to museum environments including The National Museum of Australia (Canberra), Natural History Museum (Los Angeles) and have upcoming shows scheduled for the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC.
Two performances will be held at The J Noosa on Thursday 3 May at 6pm and Friday 4 May at 10.30am. Cost to attend is adults $20, children $15 and group of 4 (minimum 2 kids) $60.
