Cr Joe Natoli - Maroochydore Sand Renourishment
  • Monday 14 September 2020

Work is underway to replenish the sand on Maroochydore Beach. Guided by the Shoreline Erosion Management Plan, about every two years, Council replenishes the sand to widen the beach and uphold the erosion buffer. This project improves the beach amenity and provides long-term protection of the foreshore between Alexandra Headlands and Cotton Tree. Works are expected to be completed at end of September 2020.
