Budget

Sunshine Coast Council endorsed its $816 million budget at its Ordinary Meeting on 24 June. Supporting strong, resilient and connected communities has remained a key priority. For more information visit council’s website.

Sunshine Coast Art Prize

Congratulations to Eumundi local Jennifer Herd and her art piece Three targets, which is a finalist in this year’s Sunshine Coast Art Prize. Forty finalists were selected from 425 submissions across a range of genres including painting, drawing, photography, printing, textiles and assemblage. All 40 finalists will be on display at the Caloundra Regional Gallery from 27 August to 10 October. The major prize winner will be announced on 23 September and receive $25,000, with the winning artwork acquired into the Sunshine Coast Art Collection.
