Nambour forecourt upgrade

Have you visited the Nambour Library lately? You may have noticed a hive of activity happening in the forecourt out the front of it, and it looks fantastic.

Council wanted to create a space that provided opportunities for people to relax, have fun and socialise. A beautiful new mural has also come to life and was created by the very talented Sunshine Coast artist Alison Mooney.

Shaded dining areas will be installed and a central open lawn area will soften and help cool the area, while a long-term solution will be investigated to keep the slide cool and useable all year. Integrated seating, a games area and festoon lighting over green nooks will help deliver council’s vision of a hub with a sub-tropical experience for the local community to enjoy and will be a valuable investment to the economy in the area.
