University Way, Sippy Downs project update
As many locals would know, council is committed to providing and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to service the needs of the Sunshine Coast region. This commitment is achieved through our Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program. As part of this program council intends to rehabilitate a section of the pavement of University Way, Sippy Downs. The treatment will involve strengthening the pavement and installing a new asphalt wearing surface. This is yet another major rehabilitation project that will improve the safety and liveability of our suburb and I look forward to continuing to deliver these important projects. I would also like to thank the community for their patience in allowing these works to occur.
Facility improvements at Elizabeth Daniels Sports Complex
The facility improvements at Elizabeth Daniels Sports Complex at Buderim has recently been completed. The sports complex is home to several sports and community clubs and is one of the Coast's best used facilities. With these improvements the sports complex will be of huge benefit to their members and for future events held there.
