What a fantastic year it has been for Division 3! I’ve really enjoyed meeting many of you at mobile offices or when out and about enjoying our great outdoors. From my family to yours, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and happy festive season and a prosperous New Year. I look forward to meeting more of you in 2019 and working with you for our community.
Community Update Newsletter
My Living in Division 3 Spring/Summer 2018 edition is out now. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out on council’s website under ‘Councillor Newsletters’. The newsletter aims to provide residents with a snapshot of what’s happening in our community. The first stage of the Meridan Sports Field development has kicked off with the AFL ovals really taking shape. We’ve delivered new shade for Lake Kawana, playground and bus stop upgrades where needed and the foreshore upgrade at Currimundi Lake looks amazing. During the summer holidays stage one of the Parklands Boulevard duplication will commence and the next section of the coastal pathway at Bokarina is planned for early in the New Year. You’ll also find a handy list of upcoming local events to fill out your social calendar.
