Head to the new Beerburrum Trail Head and try the Yul-Yan-Man Track
While many of our trails were quiet during the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions earlier this year, we took the opportunity to finish off some great projects, such as the new Beerburrum Trail Head, which now has new interpretive signage that tells the story of the area.
Over the last few months we’ve seen the carpark full and many locals and visitors out enjoying the track. One of the great trails to try from here is the Yul-Yan-Man Track. If you haven’t tried it, or it’s been a while since you did, get out there give it a go, but keep in mind there are some rock scrambles along the way! You can find details about this track and many more at adventure.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
Visit two of our newest suburbs
Each week, our newest suburbs of Baringa and Nirimba at Caloundra South are welcoming new residents. This growing community provides great opportunities for our Glasshouse Country townships to attract a new wave of visitors to our local attractions and businesses. Particularly when the Bells Creek Arterial connection to Roys Road is complete, our new neighbours will be able to easily visit us before we know it. I encourage all local businesses to start planning how they might attract these new potential customers! Why not take a drive to explore and get a feel for these new areas yourself.
