Beerwah park upgrades complete
I’m pleased to advise that the latest stage of works at the much-loved Turner Park is now complete. Upgrades included a stone-clad seating wall, custom entrance arbour, park seating, drainage, concrete link footpaths, lighting and electrical works, planting and soft-scape works. Next time you’re in town make sure you drop by and check it out.
Works have also been completed at Twin Peaks Park, where you’ll find a new table and seating, playground edging, refreshed soft fall and fresh turf.
Improved parking in Landsborough
There’ll be no more parking on gravel or dusty cars for motorists who use the Caloundra Street car park in Landsborough. The car park, north of Pioneer Park, has been sealed and there are now 54 formalised parking spaces, including two disability spaces, improving safety and accessibility. Landscaping works in the area are now in progress.
