Council’s customer service centre in the Caloundra administration building in Omrah St will be closed for a minimum of four to six weeks following the fire on Monday night.
This will allow for repairs to take place on level one of the building.
A temporary customer contact desk with EFTPOS facilities only (no cash transactions) is open across the street in the Caloundra Library.
However, services at the temporary desk are limited.
For example, development application services such as building and plumbing approvals and inquiries are not available.
Customers can access a development application counter service, including inquiries, making appointments and lodging documents, at council’s Maroochy on First office in First Avenue, Maroochydore or DA inquiries can be made by calling (07) 5475 7526 or (07) 5475 PLAN
