Buderim acknowledges community contributions to safety and crime prevention
  • Thursday 27 November 2008

Community safety is everyone's responsibility however some of our community members go that “extra mile”. To acknowledge these efforts, the Buderim Community Safety Award is an opportunity to recognise those valued members of our community.

The Buderim Community Safety Award recognises individuals, groups or organisations in Buderim who have made a positive impact on community safety and crime prevention, during the past twelve months, through active participation in the community.

The Buderim Community Safety Award will be presented at a morning tea hosted by the Buderim Safe committee, which forms part of council’s Community Safety program.

The morning tea will be held on Thursday, 27 November from 10 am – 12 pm at St Marks Anglican Church, Main Street, Buderim.

Nominees and those who have submitted a nomination have been invited to attend the award presentation ceremony.

Committee members councillors Dickson and Hungerford will also be in attendance.
