ImageAfter smashing stages in USA and Canada, Boy & Bear have announced that they will be continuing their international tour on home soil, including an appearance on the Sunshine Coast.

Kicking off on November 9 in Ballarat in Victoria, the ARIA award winners will be visiting 20 regional locations to showcase their latest album Limit of Love released on October 9, 2015.

The accomplished five-piece band are due to hit the sandy shores of the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, November 19 at council’s Lake Kawana Community Centre.

Boy & Bear are an indie, rock and folk outfit hailing from Sydney, established in 2009.

Dave, Killian, Jon, Tim and Dave have been wowing audiences far and wide since the bands creation with their unique writing style, distinct vocals and their use of string instruments to produce catchy 70s style rock songs with church-like harmonies.

Influenced by illustrious bands such as Crosby, Stills Nash and The Shins, Boy & Bear have found their own niche in the music industry, comparable to no other.

Lake Kawana Community Centre will be welcoming Boy & Bear for the second time with this all ages, licensed event.

With tickets available from just $43, it’s anticipated the crowd pleasers will draw a sold out event in no time.

Excited to be hitting the road, Killian Gavin (vocals, guitar) said they will be “changing it up night to night really, often the venue depicts what kind of show we will go for”.

“A nice noisy pub makes a great rock show while the intimate theatres allow a lot more room for dynamics and banter,” he said.

“It keeps us on our toes and stops us from being repetitive.

“It's been a long time coming for us, this regional run. But we always love playing to as many local cities as we can, it takes time to get back there but we're looking forward to it.”

The Lake Kawana Community Centre is located at 114 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina. Parking is available at the venue. For more information on this event or to book tickets, please head to
